For those unlucky PAL gamers who missed out on Squaresoft's fantastic Sony PlayStation RPG; Chrono Cross are in for treat. The game is being rereleased on the PlayStation Network soon.
Chrono Cross was released back in 1999 in Japan and 2000 in North America. Sadly the game never found its way to PAL territory, leaving many unhappy gamers in wait. Many found themselves importing the highly praised game to get past the usual disappointment of being in land of 50hz.
The announcement of Chrono Cross comes as the result of a rather unexpected event. For those who said Twitter was pointless, might want to think again. As the SquareEnix Twitter followers count passed 20,000, producer Shinji Hashimoto decided to celebrate by announcing the games arrival on the PlayStation Network. No date has been set yet, but our fingers are crossed.
So dust off that Twitter account, follow RetroCollect and then follow the Japanese SquareEnix Twitter account. Hopefully when they hit 40,000, we might see a Final Fantasy VII remake!
