Castlevania: Dracula X Rondo Of Blood Fan Translation Patch & English Dub Completed

Castlevania-Dracula-X-Rondo-Of-Blood-Fan-Translation-English-Dub-CompletedBack in December last year and you may recall a certain fan project not only translating the in-game text to the PC Engine's stand out Castlevania title, but one that was also placing the English audio from the Sony PSP remake into the original game. After many months, the ultimate English patch for Castlevania: Dracula X Rondo Of Blood is now complete.

If anything it is fair to say that Turbografx 16 owners were let down by not being gifted an official localisation of Konami's 1993 classic. The game has since become a cult classic and one that is often considered to be the greatest adventure starring Richter Belmont to date. While it is playable in its original Japanese form, not quite beats enjoying such a epic title in your own language.

Should you be yet to enjoy Castlevania Rondo of Blood, there has never been a better time to jump into the action with this fan translation project. Nothing quite beats the adrenaline of the game's horse drawn carriage introduction stage leading you into the many trails laid out ahead in Dracula's castle. This quest, however, is no easy one.

Be sure to read the readme file included with the patch which contains full instructions on how to translate this timeless classic.

Really excited for this, but bummed that it's only going to be PC.

You mean PC-E, i think. Everyone with a CD-Burner and a Duo can play it on real hardware.
But pretty cool. I like the new Intro dub way more, as Klaus-Dieter Klebsch (german voice of House) is one of my favourite VAs

"not quite beats enjoying such a epic title in your own language." eh?

I wish my PC Engine's CD-ROM wasn't on it's last legs, I don't dare run CD-R's on it any more!

It can be enjoyed on DS/DSLite/DSi/3DS/3DSXL now, via flashcard emulation.
(For quite some time now and of course, on other handhelds, but Nintendo's handhelds are more fun and are of more solid build quality in my opinion.)
