Castle Books Release 'Lemmings: The Ports' Book Detailing The History Of DMA Design's Puzzler

Lemmings-The-Ports-Now-AvailableSeveral months ago it was announced that one of the biggest Lemmings fan sites online was compiling a book on the history of DMA Design's puzzler and the many different ports it received. Although the book was originally set to seek funding via Kickstarter, it would appear that the author has jumped right ahead and made Lemmings: The Ports available as a PDF download and in physical form too.

Spanning a massive 304 full colour pages, Lemmings: The Ports appears to be the definitive read for any fans of the series. Not only does this brand new publication detail the game's origins and obscure releases, but also just about everything else you could possibly want to know about those little critters. Elsewhere in the book you'll find maps of the many levels, graphical comparisons, details on the little merchandise that was released, a timeline of the series, and a look back at the various games under the Lemmings name that remained unreleased. Also featured within are interviews from original members of DMA Design and Tim Wright of Psygnosis, further proving that Lemmings: The Ports has really dug deep into the game's history.

So should you fancy bashing your way through a good read, head on over to Castle Books now to get your hands on Lemmings: The Ports. Physical copies will set you back £30, whilst a PDF download costs £10.
