Although being the most underrated system of all time, the Nintendo Virtual Boy is a somewhat fragile piece of retro gaming kit. Those lucky enough to own the Nintendo's early 3D outing may have encountered a rather weak joint holding the console's stand upright - one which can now be repaired thanks to a homemade solution.
Unfortunately those who happen to have just the Virtual Boy headset without a stand are out of luck today. While there have been several custom modifications using a camera tripod or adjustable desk lamp as a replacement, we'll be taking a look at how to replace the small medallion which connects the Virtual Boy's legs to the upper part of the stand.
User Hedgetrimmer of Planet Virtual Boy has recently created a purchasable solution to replace this vital part on the Nintendo Virtual Boy. For just £7 you'll be able to get that weak and previously broken stand back in action, ready for countless hours with the likes of Virtual Boy Wario Land and Jack Bros.
