In 2013 a brand new game in development for the Dreamcast and Commodore Amiga made its way to Kickstarter. Leona’s Tricky Adventures unfortunately fell well short of its fundraising target, however, the team behind the new release pressed on the hard way to ensure their game saw the light of day - a title which is now available to purchase for Sega’s final console.
If you missed the news several years back, Leona’s Tricky Adventures is a puzzler which draws inspiration from a notorious Amiga title known as Gem X. Using mechanics similar to that of the Lights Out electronic handhelds, you must match your playing field full of gems to those displayed on the opposite side of play. Although seeming simple in principle, the way in which gems change colour makes for some, well, tricky adventures.
Those tempted in adding another game to their Dreamcast collection will be able to pick up this new release for €29,90 - coming in a jewel case with its very own manual. As far as we’re aware the game is region free, however, those wanting to check out the game early can head on over to Steam for the PC release priced up at £6.99.
