Brand New Graphic Quest ‘Heroes & Cowards: The Pentagram of Power’ Adventures Onto Commodore 64

Heroes-and-Cowards-on-Commodore-64As per usual the Commodore 64 homebrew scene is alive, with yet another brand new release arriving on 5.25” floppy disk. Retro publisher Protovision have just made Heroes & Cowards: The Pentagram of Power available online - a graphical adventure with point and click mechanics and stunning visuals.

This all new title for the vintage computer comes straight from Sebastian Broghammer and Steve Kups, two developers known for their 1992 Commodore 64 title Brubaker. In co-operation with Protovision and Out of Order Softworks, the duo are making a comeback with Heroes & Cowards: The Pentagram of Power and aim to set the homebrew scene alive. The game itself sees one comfortable protagonist enjoying time on the sofa, only to be sucked into a medieval world filled with puzzles to solve. The only way out for our hero, or coward, is to locate the Pentagram of Power and break the spell cast over the country of Dartenwood.

Released in both Hero and Coward Editions, this all new release for the Commodore 64 arrives at just 35EUR with various extras included in each package.

It's amazing just how healthy the C64 scene is. You can't even really call it a retro thing as it seems the products just never stopped! Hardware, games, creative software, demos and SIDs... It just keeps going! :)

I love the Psytronic releases for the C64. Last month I bought Darkness from the Binary Domain store and the whole package is plain awesome, the game itself is amazing.

Love the fact that my 1985 Breadbin is still getting fed new releases
