Brand New Caravan Shooter 'The Ghost Blade' Announced For Sega Dreamcast By Hucast Games

brand-new-caravan-shooter-the-ghost-blade-announced-for-sega-dreamcast-by-hucast-gamesWhile one team at Hucast Games is busy with the production of their Kickstarter fuelled Dreamcast shooter, Redux: Dark Matters, another has begun work on a brand new title for Sega's much loved system. The Ghost Blade is their upcoming caravan shooter due for release some time later this year.

If you didn't already check out Hucast Games' recent work, the talented homebrew developers recently made a downloadable demo of Redux: Dark Matters available, further proving how well they know Sega's hardware. The Ghost Blade will no doubt follow suit and provide shmup fans with yet another title to perfect, this time round with the focus on high scores.

Hucast Games have released little information on The Ghost Blade as of yet, however, they have left a few snippets of what to expect on their blog:

Game Features:

3 Game Modes with 3 player ships too choose from.

Screen Orientation:

  • TATE ( “3:4”) and YOKO (“4:3”)

Game Modes:

  • Stage Mode: 5 Stages
  • Caravan Mode: 2 min./5 min.
  • Time Attack

Release: TBA 2013

As usual, stay tuned for further updates on yet another new title arriving on the Sega Dreamcast shortly.
