Bomberman Unofficially Blasting Onto Commodore 64 Next Month In 'Bomberland 64'

For several decades the frantic fast paced multiplayer gameplay has captivate countless gamers, and now Commodore 64 owners can look towards joining in on the fun. Bomberland 64 is an unofficial offering of the bombtastic title, one retro gaming publisher RGCD will soon be releasing on cartridge.

Polish-based Samar Productions have been hard at work as of recent with their homebrew creation Bomberland 64. Supposedly in development for over a decade, Bomberland 64 will offer a 32-level single player campaign along with a 2-5 player battle tournament mode - allowing use of the Protovision four-player adapter. Furthermore the game will feature C128 enhancements, a password save system and support for two-button joysticks.

Bomberland 64 is due to go on sale at RGCD some time next month via both digital distribution and a physical cartridge release. Until then, take a look at this recently released trailer from RGCD.
