Bomberman Blasts Again Onto iOS & Android Devices In Japan

Bomberman-Blasts-onto-iOS-and-AndroidAlthough many would assume that Konami’s acquisition of Hudson Soft has left retro heroes such as Bonk and Bomberman out in the cold, one flame has finally been rekindled and used to reignite a gaming fuse! The iconic multiplayer blaster is back in its traditional form on both iOS and Android in Japan.

While we’re yet to see if this title is released outside Japan, Konami’s all new release holds a lot of promise for retro gamers itching for a modern take on Bomberman. Sticking to the standard top down view and using the classic visuals in HD form, this portable port is also set to allow multiple players to battle it out via bluetooth.

The only question remaining about this new app is whether or not it supports physical control pads and bluetooth pads. Bomberman is without a doubt going to be a tricky game to play on a touchscreen.
