Behind-The-Scenes-Of-The-Upcoming-Resident-Evil-1-5-Sony-PlayStation-1-Prototype-Release-Part-3As of recent a team of retro reverse engineers have been rebuilding an unfinished prototype of Capcom's Resident Evil 1.5. Over the last few months this very team has been sharing with the world the process behind their work via YouTube, with their latest video taking us further behind the scenes.

If you're only just tuning into one of the biggest retro gaming stories of 2013, a playable build of Resident Evil 1.5 has since been shared online for all to enjoy. While this unfinished title does feature many bugs and glitches, it does allow us to finally experience what Resident Evil 2 was meant to be before Capcom pulled the plug and started over. This aforementioned team are currently addressing these in-game bugs, reworking the game's code, all in the hope of releasing a more playable version of this prototype in the near future.

The third video in the behind the scenes documentary goes on to showcase the introduction of multilingual options and several bugs which have since been squashed. Furthermore, the team have brought along missing functionality from Resident Evil 1 and addressed how certain in-game menus work.

Overall, the game is starting to look more like a finished product, one even Capcom might be proud of...
