Behind The Scenes Of The Upcoming Resident Evil 1.5 Sony PlayStation 1 Prototype Release - Part 2

Behind-The-Scenes-Of-The-Upcoming-Resident-Evil-1-5-Sony-PlayStation-1-Prototype-Release-Part-2Back in January, footage was uploaded to YouTube displaying previously unseen action of the Resident Evil 1.5 prototype. This video also contained a voice-over and explanation from the current owners of this beta of what they're currently doing - translating and repairing Capcom's unfinished title. Their follow up has just surfaced.

If you're only just getting up to speed on the alluring Resident Evil 1.5, a dedicated group of lucky individuals in possession of this unfinished holy grail are planning to release the game to the general public for download. Alongside this release, however, they are going to also include their own bug-fixed version of the game. As the title was never finished at Capcom's headquarters and ended up scrapped for the Resident Evil 2 we know and love today, there is quite a bit of work required to create a playable title - which is what these insider videos are detailing.

This second video in the behind the scenes documentary goes on to showcase how their reverse engineering efforts are handling the unfinished menu systems within the game, translating them, and of course, fixing the broken functionality.

The dedicated Resident Evil fan amongst us will also be pleased to know that there is plenty more unseen footage within this video too. The only question left remaining is: how soon can we play this!?
