Atari Lynx Shmup 'Zaku' From Super Fighter Team Back In Stock

Atari-Lynx-Homebrew-Shmup-Zaku-From-Super-Fighter-Team-Back-In-StockIf you missed the chance to purchase the side scrolling shoot em up for the Atari Lynx handheld, Zaku, back in 2009 then you're in luck. Super Fighter Team have finally created another batch of copies which have now been made available.

For those unaware of the title, Zaku is by far one of the most impressive titles on the Atari Lynx. Whilst it was created much after the handheld's lifespan, Zaku really pushes the Lynx to the boundaries and proves that you can get console style games working on the underloved portable. The scrolling shooter itself is very hard, granting this small cartridge a lot of playability.

The game is back up to order on the Zaku website, once again priced up at $58 for those in the US and $65 for those situated outside the US. We'd recommend picking up this one in a heartbeat should you have any interest in the Lynx whatsoever. Should you need convincing, a complete playthrough of the game surfaced on YouTube recently.

Is the Atari Lynx region free? Or would I need an NTSC Atari Lynx to play this game?
