Adventure Soft's Classic 'Simon The Sorcerer' Revived In HD Android Port For 20th Anniversary

Simon-The-Sorcerer-Android-PortTo think so many games are now celebrating birthdays into their twenties and thirties is a sobering thought - we're aging fast. The latest of these titles is Simon the Sorcerer and its creator, Adventure Soft, has decided to celebrate in style. The 1993 point and click adventure has just been revived with a HD port for Android based devices.

If you're yet to sample this magical quest, Simon the Sorcerer is often regarded as one of the top ten point and click classics ever made. Its mix of devious puzzles, witty British humour and gorgeous visuals haven captivated gamers for several decades now - and quite rightly so.

This all new port features the original game intact, only using an upscaling filter to 'enhance' the graphics. According to MojoTouch, the developers behind the Android version, this 20th anniversary celebration also features all-new slick icons and animations, remastered stereo music and even new in-game menus.

Should you be interesting in revisiting this rollercoaster of wizardry or fancy tackling it for the first time round, you'll be pleased to hear it can be had for the low cost of £2.68 via Google Play. Here's more information about this title via the press release MojoTouch recently emailed over:
