Addictive Number Cruncher '2048' Ported To Sega Mega Drive

2048-Ported-To-Mega-Drive-and-GenesisOver the last few weeks countless hours of productivity around the world have gone to waste following the release of the highly addictive online number game 2048. This difficult digit slider has become incredibly popular, and so much so, the game itself has been ported over to the Sega Mega Drive.

The aim of the game is rather simple, slide matching numbers into each other to make larger numbers - and repeat. Sounds easy, right? Well before you write off this puzzler as a simple high score accumulator, it's not just about racking up the points but to also combine as many tiles as possible until you arrive at the fabled 2048 tile.

The brand new Mega Drive / Genesis port of this game has just been released online in a downloadable ROM format, ready for use in emulators and flash cartridges too - but don't hold us responsible for the loss of sleep over this number cruncher!
