The text based adventure genre today is a distant memory for many retro gamers. With systems today providing everything you need to visually experience a game, the imagination side of things is a long lost past time. Fans of the genre, however, can now look towards Activision's celebration of the genre, The Lost Treasures Of Infocom.
This new Apple iOS app is a collection of most of the iconic text adventures Infocom created in the eighties, along with their accompanying paperwork - maps, original instruction booklets and InvisiClues hint books. The application comes bundled with the original Zork title, Zork I: The Great Underground Empire, while the remaining games need to be bought in packs, with one including the never seen before Zork: The Undiscovered Underground.

They have done a good job on the interface from the looks, and the games are cheap enough - would buy again!
Of course, if you don't want to wait, you could download any of the free Z interpreters.
