We all love playing as Knuckles in Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and 3, but did you know you can enjoy the Echidna's gliding ability in Sonic 1 too? Thanks to some newly discovered Sega Mega Drive Game Genie codes, you can now unlock the blue hedgehog’s red accomplice in Green Hill Zone and beyond.

In February we paved way for import US and Japanese games to be included within our video game database. As of today, you'll now start to see some of these additions, starting with the ever impressive NTSC US Super Nintendo release list. So what are you waiting for, get tracking your SNES imports today!

Since our last update, the RetroCollect Squad has been busy behind the scenes working on new features for the video game database. After a long overdue rewrite, the database will now allow import games to slowly make an appearance, whilst other new features such as the Database Hub and eBay Assistant are ready for action.

Once again RetroCollect have provided Imagine Publishing's flagship title Retro Gamer Magazine with an informative and must have collecting guide. In issue #112 you'll be able to find out everything you ever needed to know about Sega's 16-bit system in our Mega Drive Collector's Guide.

Having celebrated our birthday earlier this week and with Christmas just around the corner, we thought it was about time we started handing out some gifts to our users in the form of new database functionality. First in a line of several updates we want to highlight some updates to the detailed game pages recently rolled out.

Believe it or not, today is RetroCollect's all important and pixelated second e-birthday. Having launched on this very day back in 2010, it's time to blow out the dust from your cartridges candles and raise your control pads to the very website retro gamers now call home.

With just days to go until the UK heads out for a weekend full of retro gaming action, we felt it was about time to reveal more about the additional competitions and plans we have underway for Play Expo 2012's retro gaming section. Let’s just say that we have a lot in store for you RetroCollectees - pixels, polygons and prizes!

It's that time of year again where we step away from our beloved computer screens in preparation for a weekend of pixelated carnage. Once again you can expect to see the RetroCollect Squad at this year’s Play Expo, hosting a plethora of competitions and retro gaming action. Will you be joining in the action?

Less than two weeks ago we introduced two long-awaited system to our database but we felt that there was still a huge gap left. We decided to speed things up and do our best to deliver your most anticipated system in record time. So, without further ado, please welcome the Atari VCS / Atari 2600 to RetroCollect.

As we make the preliminary steps towards making the RetroCollect Game Database cater for the wealth of import games we all collect, we've introduced a few new systems to help us get there. Not only does our latest update bring the SNK Neo Geo and NEC TurboGrafx-16 / PC Engine to the collection tracker, but a whole host of other updates too.
