New Megadrive RPG 'Pier Solar' in Beta testing

While this news update might be a week late, updates regarding Pier Solar seem to go unnoticed and unannounced. Having been delayed for over a year now, the team have found updating quietly a much prefered method of getting the news out to avoid the onslaught of angry pre-order customers.

Another 'Stadium Events' surfaces on eBay, a Sealed one!

Following last week's news story on the arrivial of a CIB Stadium Events proved one thing. There are some really die hard collectors out there with a lot of spare dough! However that huge sum of $13,000 for Stadium Events is about to be dwarfed by what could be Retro Gaming History.

Pre-NES/Famicom Nintendo Toy spotted in local museum

Believe it or not, before Nintendo released the Famicom / Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in the mid 80s, they were known for making toys. Starting off with playing cards and eventually moving onto toys, there is quite alot of Nintendo history that isn't often too well known.

Unreleased Soulstar X (Sega 32X) - Dumped & Available for Download

The kind peeps over at SegaSaturno have once again preserved gaming histroy for us all to enjoy. This week, after getting together a massive group contribution of 493€, we are able to finally play the unreleased Soulstar X for the Sega Megadrive 32X.

Nintendo NES with 5 games sells for $13,105

As mad as it sounds, that was the winning bid for this auction on eBay.com. Although their may only have been 5 games in there, one of the ones included was the incredibly rare American version of Stadium Events.

New Nintendo NES Game - Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril

Nintendo NES fans can finally cheer! After seeing the Sega Megadrive get treated to new titles such as Beggar Prince, Legend Of Wukong and (soon to be) Pier Solar; the NES will soon be getting this gorgeous looking platformer 'Battle Kid'.
