So who else watched the Switch unveiling this morning, that translator made it worth stopping up for. Tell thee what though wasn't expecting Mario Odyssey, can't go wrong with a main stage Mario title... Well unless its one of those 'New' Super Mario Bros games.

  • Just a note to say Nights arrived this morning, absolutely glorious condition. Cheers mate another game I've always wanted to play off the bucket list.

  • Heard a good statement today, "those who collect for monetary gains are always the last in a collecting circle and the first to bail". Couldn't have summed it better myself.

  • Been playing R Type 3 this afternoon after giving up very quickly in previous attempts. Oh my god forgot how good it is, everything about it screams peak of 16 bit shmups. The massive downside is that it is easily one of the most difficult SNES games I've ever played. Now I don't mind a challenge in fact I love a bit of quiet frustration but R Type 3 is comically difficult.

  • Hit and miss at Game today, managed to get a NES mini and controller for RRP. The bad news is the disc cleaner destroyed my Mega CD copy of Power Rangers, gutted is an understatement. However they said they will find a copy from a third party source and replace it. Here's to hoping they are true to their word.

  • yeah rule of rose is shockingly expensive. I spent £80 on mine a few years ago and I was lucky but seeing go anywhere between £120-£200. It as become very very expensive but not seen any UK versions tho

  • Been looking at how much PS2 desirables go for this afternoon and am shocked by the going rate of Rule of Rose on 2 accounts. First of I'm surprised how much non English copies are going for nowadays. Considering it got a healthy print run of both French and Italian editions I'm surprised to see people paying nearly and in some cases over a ton for a copy

  • Some lad at work brought his mini NES in, needless to say everyone at work thinks 8 bit gaming was hard. That's until I showed em how do finish Super C solo in under 30 mins ;]
Can't test this man when it comes to run and gun. =D

  • Been playing Turtles 2 on the NES over past few days forgot how good it was. The biggest criticism is the glitchy PAL NES graphics but that is standard for most PAL games so I guess I shouldn't moan...

  • Yep it's homebrew and a very polished looking one too and boxed with manual. Not cheap, but as an Asteroids nut I couldn't resist. :)

  • Sounds like a good mash up. I'm guessing its a home brew game?
