Goalposthead

Game pickups today 2 consoles and 2 games
A PS3 slim and a Psp 3000 slim
Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resistance fall of Man
All for about £137
Then after charging and turning on the Psp turns out the memory card has four games installed Final Fantasy 4 collection, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, Driver 76 and Daxter shame I've already got a physical copy of that one

  • Nightmare was the wrong word I was tired it was the 2nd part of a previous attempt at writing the comment I was basically talking out of my backside sorry I knew what I meant and couldn't write it down

  • why would it be a nightmare for developers to program to support 4k? the machines run X86 Basecode the same code that pc's use and developers have been programming different resolutions in games for years so it's not any different really than that so it's definitely not to much work for them or that difficult :)

  • There is no way this generation will last as long as the previous one, hardware was deliberately stunted to prevent this.

  • Sorry it's taken so long to reply I do see what you are getting at but I do not think the new machines if they do come out will be 4K it would just be a nightmare for developers maybes next gen but hopefully next gen they will go the next logical step to 4K especially given the life span of the 360 and PS3 and this one will according to rumours last longer

  • I'm sure they're still just rumours and that there's no announcement been made. It doesn't matter if games are still compatible, MS have backtracked on too much already and making a 4k console would be the last nail in the coffin...

  • XB1 isn't the only culprit of this the XB announcment only came about because of the PS4.5 announcement.
But I'm sure they've said that in order not to alienate customers who have bought the first release consoles all future games must work on the older models also if they don't they aren't being released until they do
